On the way you can see a lot of of hazelnut trees, vineyards, historic buildings such as the Cuba Bizantina, a Byzantine church from 7th century AD, the Church of Saint Nicholas, Byzantine tombs.
You will see the famous Alcantara gorges and waterfalls, of volcanic origin.
